LSSB Annual Appreciation Dinner
Lantana services held her very first annual appreciation dinner to all Brunei and Malaysia office staffs and vessels senior officers and engineers on 04-Jan-2013 at Kuala Belait Yacht Club.
The dinner kicked off with the arrival of guests and the Doa Selamat recited by Capt Saiful Rizal. This was followed by the welcoming speech from Lantana Services Brunei new MD Mr. Joffiry Rifin on the challenges LSSB faced in 2012 and the journey ahead in 2013. An eulogy on the late Capt Acopio, one of the pioneers in LSSB's history, was presented by Crewing Manager Mr Marvin Nyelang Peing. At the end of the eulogy, Marvin requested a moment of silence from the floor as a token of respect towards the late Capt Acopio.
The live band headed by Emcee Edgar Leong (Atmosphere) took over the entertainment for the night with a Hello number by Lionel Richie. First round of lucky draw took place before the BEST PAKAT awards were presented to Capt Lapez and Capt Kadir.
Following the awards presentation, buffet dinner was served. Atmosphere's live band performance entertained the whole floor with more rounds of lucky draws. Intermediately Emcee Edgar would catch everyone off guard by requesting members of the floor to participate in fun games which really tickled everyone's funny bone.
It was really a wonderful, enjoyable fun filling night. A night to remember indeed.
